The 1892/Rainsford B. Sherman Memorial Forest is a 162-acre property. The property features a 3 mile hike on woodland roads through a property belonging to the Wolf Den Land Trust and the Town of Killingly. The town acquired its parcel in 1892. Discover an old stone foundation and well. To reach the historic site, hike down a steep and narrow right of way. ​
